My Story

Born again at the age of 32, I realize that life is to be lived for the glory of and pleasure of God (Isaiah 43:7, Revelation 4:11). I love the Lord God with all of my heart, mind, soul and strength as well as His Son, my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I also love others as He calls me to do. My life verse is Philippians 2:16, “Holdng forth the Word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.”

God’s word never returns void (Isaiah 55:11), and it is life giving according to 2 Peter 1:3 where it states that we are given “all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.” We absolutely have to know God through His Word. That is how we gain this knowledge of Him to gain all things for life and godliness. Psalm 138:2 even states that God magnifies His word above all His Name.

Because of my love of God, I have dedicated my life to surrendering all to Him. This has led me on quite a journey. My husband and I gave up our lives in the engineering field to follow God; he has been a pastor since 2003 and our lives have been dedicated to the work of God.

When I came to know Jesus, I fell in love with Him. I read the Bible over and over and over again. I began teaching other women and youth and my own children. I continue to grow in the knowledge of God, and I continue to share the Word of life in many different ways. I have led Bible studies, youth groups, girls mentor groups, ladies’ conferences and retreats, and youth apologetics conferences. I have also written Bible studies for women both online and hard copies. Some of the topics that I have covered are “Fear of the Lord”, “His Grace is Sufficient”, “Surrender”, “Come Away” (From Song of Solomon), “Crossing the Jordan”, “Rise and Shine”, “Will You Be Able to Stand?” as well as others.

I pray that as I continue to grow in age, and in the Lord, that He will continue to allow me the privilege of sharing about Him to all in whom I come in contact. God has given me, truly, the great peace, joy and comfort that I have ever experienced in all of life outside of knowing Him. Knowing God personally, in a personal relationship, is something I want everyone I know to experience. It truly is “life giving!”
